An Amendment Made

During the second unit of A Nation’s Argument, we focused on making amendments to articles of law. Whereas last unit we focused on making our own declaration based on the Declaration of Independence.  This unit we looked at the Chicago Municipal Code and chose an article to make amends to, based on if we found the argument unjust or why it needed to be amended. In light of recent events, I chose to focus on the section of the Code that focused on hate crimes. To make amends to the article, we had to break down the argument into a syllogism and then make a new syllogism to make the argument just.
